Dissadvantages: many judo moves are falling throws where you hit the
deck first when throwing the other guy. An instantaneous loss in sumo.
Also in sumo you can't afford not to maintain a forward pressure
whereas in Judo the main thing is to retain control of your balance
-- being pushed out of the ring is of no consequence. Many Judo
experienced rikishi have trouble adapting to sumo at first.
