Takanohana is in the top of the rank for 7 consecutive basho.
Takanohana is aiming at his 14th yusho and tied with Wajima for the
4th best in number of yusho, behind only to Taiho (32), Chiyonofuji (31)
and Kitanoumi (24).
Kaio is in Sekiwake for 10 consecutive basho and it's the longest record
in Showa and Heisei era combined. (Musashimaru and Sakahoko are tied in second
with 9 consecutive basho in Sekiwake rank)
Kaio (11-4) needs 13 wins to reach to 33 wins in three basho,
Musoyama (10-5) needs only 11 wins to reach to 33 wins in three basho.
Daishoho came back to Komusubi the first time since Haru-basho last year.
Rikio is the first Maku(no)uchi rikishi for Former Yokozuna Takanosato's
Naruto-beya.
