On the subject of tax problems with toshiyori kabu. I heard that 
Kokonoe (ex-Chiyonofuji) was caught in this type of trap whereby the
donations for the building of his new stable weren't taxed.  I
believe he came out relatively unscathed after he blamed bad
financial advice from his accountant, which seemed to be believed by
the media.  Given the extreme complexity of all Japanese systems, and
I can't imagine the tax one is any better, this excuse seem
emminently believable.  My guess that unless it is very blatant that
something similar will happen for the Futagoyama case this time
around...  That is a small amount of publicity and then forgotten
about.
