Re: former Onaruto's book

I also read Onaruto's book. It was very interesting and believable.
There isn't so much suprisingly new stuff from what The Weekly Post
has been reporting for more than 10 years, but rather it added
further evidence to their allegations.

There is some new information that hasn't been reported, though, like:
Tamanoshima (later became Yokozuna Tamanoumi, who died while he was
still active Yokozuna) was involved rather easily with fixed matches
(I thought he was almost a "clean" rikishi); Ohnaruto cites Ozeki
Kiyokuni as a rather "clean" rikishi contrary to my former belief;
As opposed to Taiho, who was "gachinko" (serious, not fixed) up to
his 20th yusho (tournament win), Chiyonofuji's yusho was based on
fixed matches right from his first yusho when he was Sekiwake
(I thought Chiyonofuji was relatively "gachinko" when he was young).

Anyway, I am curious about why Sumo Kyokai (association) sued
The Weekly Post this time after ignoring it more then 10 years.
It seems that somehow Ohnaruto's recent confession caught people's
attention including foreign press, so Sumo Kyokai couldn't just
ignore anymore. Now that Sumo Kyokai took the formal
legal action, other Japanese media can't ignore that fact.
I really hope that it gets more and more attention among media and
sumo fans so that Sumo Kyokai must take some action, although
I'm relatively pessimistic about that.
