Hi Southern California Sumo Fans!
 
I am sorry for the delay, but at last we have a place to meet. The next
"Post-Basho Bash" will be on Saturday July 27th from 7 PM at Dojima-An in
Torrance. I have eaten there and I found the food, which I suspect may be
Kansai style, to be excellent. Paul has negotiated the use of a large
private room so we can bring the TV and VCR and review the Nagoya Basho
while we eat.
 
Because of the size of our group (we are growing almost as fast as
Konishiki), the manager has suggested a fixed menu with a nabe main course.
I think the price (with tax and tip) will be around $20 (drinks NOT
included). These places usually go nuts with the food on these "fixed menu"
deals, so I'm all for it. But since unlike the Sumo Kyokai this is sort of a
democracy, please send me your comments _as_soon_as_possible_. I need to
nail this down and get a number to the manager, the sooner the better.

Go south on Hawthorne from the 405 freeway, almost to PCH. 238th is a small
street without a traffic light, and the romaji on the sign is about two
inches tall, so watch carefully. Its worth the drive!
