Day 8 : PEPSI BOY TAKATORIKI BEATS YOKOZUNA AKEBONO !!!
OZEKI TAKANNAMI REMAINS UNBEATEN!
Today's last bout(musubino-ichiban), pepsi boy Takatoriki won against
yokozuna Akebono. Yokozuna Akebono stepped out of the dohyo first.
The judges discuss the bout(monoii), but Takatoriki's was announced as
a winner. Akebono lost the bouts three times in this basho.
Yokozuna Takanohana thrust Daishoyo out of the dohyo easily!
Takanohana got his 7th win.
The sole leader - ozeki Takanonami defended sekiwake Kotonishiki yotsu-attack
and held Koto's arms by his long arms. Takanonami lifted and forced out
Kotonishiki. Takanonami got 8 straight wins and made a kachi-koshi today!
Ozeki Wakanohana forced Kenko out of the dohyo and got his 7th win!
Wakanohana looks good in this basho.
Ozeki Musashimaru pushed Minatofuji out of the dohyo!!
New komusubi threw down strong sekiwake Musoyama by uwate-nage(upper arm
throw)! Musoyama lost the bouts three times and the hope of hiis ozeki
promotion is getting smaller. Never give up, Musoyama!
The sumo pool bout : Small Mainoumi carried out big Konishiki !
