Day 6 : BIG UPSET !!! YOKOZUNA TAKANOHANA LOST !!!
What a bout! No.5 maegashira ranker Kenko beat yokozuna Takanohana
and got a kinbo-shi win!! At the moment tachiai, Takanohana gripped
Kenko's uwate(upper arm) belt by his left hand and made his style.
Kenko was deffensive. Everyone believed Takanohana would won.
And then Takanohana tried to force Kenko out quickly, but at the edge of
the dohyo Kenko showed unbelievable throwing. Kenko threw yokozuna out
and down! Takanohana was thrown down on the audience's seat competely!!
Yokozuna Akebono defeated strong sekiwake Musoyama! Akebono thrust
as usual against Musoyama. Musoyama resisted and tried to made Ake
off balance, but Akebono kept thrusting and at the edge of the dohyo
Akebono gripped Musoyama's uwate(upper arm) belt and forced Muso out
of the dohyo! Akebono is getting better and better.
Ozeki candidate Musoyama lost two bouts in this basho.
Ozeki Musashimaru pushed out big killer Akinoshima and got 5th win
in this basho.
Ozeki Wakanohana took a uwate grip against no.2 maegashira Minatofuji.
Minatofuji resisted and struggled, but finally Waka forced Minato
out and down!
Unbeaten ozeki Takanonami faced happy komusubi Kotonowaka today and
got a yorikiri win! Takanonami remained unbeaten.
New komusubi Asahiyutaka made his best yotsu style against sekiwake
Kaio and Asahi showed a suprize shitate dashinage (pulling) throwing !
Asahi finally got a first win in this basho.
Sumo technician Mainoumi showed excellent, thrilling, wonderful,
splendid, great, interesting and exciting sumo against Daishi!
Good sumo, Mainoumi !
