If you give me some time, I can find you a contact's name in Germany. 
Yes, there is a sumo club in Hawai'i, from which all of the top US 
amateurs come, as well as some ex-pros. Strangely enough, neither 
Akebono, Musashimaru nor Konishiki belonged to the O'ahu Sumo Club, 
although Larry Aweau, one of our elders, discovered Akebono and had a 
hand in Musashimaru's going to Japan as well. And when I unfortunately 
move away from Hawai'i, I plan to also start sumo clubs on the U.S. East 
Coast and in Puerto Rico.
