The Sumo World Championships will be broadcast in the L.A. area on KSCI
(Channel 18) this Saturday, April 13, at 8pm. This is the same channel that
broadcasts Ozumo during each basho... it is actually an International
Channel,
not just Japanese (SCI = Southern California International, I believe).

Zen, if you hear anything about tourneys in the SoCal area, please post them
to the list since I think others around SoCal might be interested, but at the
very least please send them on to me as well. Thankx!!!

One last note... I graduate in a little over a month, and it looks like after
that I will be getting ready to move out to Washington, D.C. Anyone in the
DC area on the list? If so, let me know! I have two things for any DC-area
folk...

First, is there any TV sumo access? I dread and predict that the answer is
no,
but thought I should at least ask.

Second, when I go, I'll see if I can't bring along a tape or two full of
sumo,
maybe May basho. If anyone would like to borrow them or meet and watch them,
that would be cool.

That's all folks... hope everyone's life is peaceful and warm (at least
inside)

Dhuggy
