I've been looking at past banzukes that I downloaded off the WWW
somewhere, and there appear to have been a few minor errors on one or
two pages and I was wondering.
In Nagoya (July) 94, Daishoho was at W7, Kitakachidoki at E8, and
Kiraiho at W8. Daishoho and Kiraiho went 7-8, and Kitakachidoki went
8-7. So here is that part of the banzuke w/ final records.
Kotonowaka M7 Daishoho (7-8)
Kitakachidoki (8-7) M8 Kiraiho (7-8)
Fine, but in the Aki (September) 94 banzuke we see Kiraiho at E11, which
is fine, BUT Daishoho all the way down in the boonies at E13!!! With
the same record, he went from one rank above to two ranks below Kiraiho!
Not possible, at least according to Sumo Kyokai=B9s normal banzuke-making
behavior or =B3protocol=B3 for lack of a better term. Something's amiss...
Furthermore, Kitakachidoki is at W10... _dropping_ two ranks with an
8-7 record. Again, not possible given the normal expectations of
banzukes.
Can someone please confirm for me the accuracy (or inaccuracy) of this
information. I can=B9t believe it could all be accurate, and would like to
figure out which part of it is causing the problems. Thankx... Dhuggy
