Ken: I think Hasegawa must be up there with 22-basho in Sekiwake. He used to be better than most Ozeki but still was not promoted to Ozeki. He was from Sadogatake-beya. He recorded Makuuchi Saikou Yushou at Sekiwake and still not good enough to be promoted. I think he was the strongest Sakiwake ever, who did not make Ozeki. -Masumiriki
