It's comforting to hear that the father is Masaru rather than Koji.  Just
imagine what the situation would be if it was the other way around ;-)

Hey, isn't this the first time since birth that Masaru has beaten Koji in
anything?  Ironic that it is ... in giving birth (well, fathering a child,
and of course Masaru was married before Koji as well but Koji was the first
to get engaged ;-).
