Whether you or anyone else appreciates the message is absolutely NOT the
point Mark. I'd like to hear about ways to write a color Hypercard stack so
the cards move faster. I'd like to hear if Kurt Vonnegut has written a new
book or if a new cheap Photoshop upgrade with a deadline to purchase has
come up. I'm sure we could all post little lists of information we'd like
to learn about quickly, and wouldn't it be convenient for each of us if
these things popped up on the sumo list so we wouldn't have to subscribe to
any other lists?
The point is, THIS IS A SUMO MAILING LIST. If you want to learn about DOS
viruses, subscribe to a DOS virus list. If you want to learn about Mac
viruses, I will be happy to E-mail you a list of E-zines and mailing lists
that will inform you faster than it would appear in an inappropriate place.
I can't believe you're defending a post about a computer virus on a sumo
list but I have a feeling you won't be the last one. Reasonable, related
drift is expected. Off-topic messages are a waste of everyone's time.
