Thank you for the information. I'm glad what I wrote was not
extremely stupid. It is quite rare occation to find out Abe-san's
error :-) :-) :-)

But certainly there were moments Wajima was far behind from Takanohana
in his rank. I wasn't aware of that.
I think it is quite extraordinary enough for a Juryo to
ask Sanyaku to go out to eat...
Maybe for Wajima, it was his buddy Mitsuru, after all.

By the way I failed to add one tidbit in last message.
It is not on his character, but Wajima has a quite unique record.
I have no record so I can't tell exactly when and how, but
Wajima once won a Basho in spite that he retired from the Basho!
Kyujo sitanoni Yusho suru nante!
He got injured his hand at somethinglike thirteenth day and skip
the rest of the Basho. He had already won somethinglike 12 and
no other Rikishi could even equal to his record.
(It was good old day that you can win the basho by 12-3:-)
Wajima didn't play the last day, but appeard to award ceremony with
his Mawashi.
I believe he is the only person who achieved this strange record.
