Occupations (was Re: tsuki/oshi-zumo)

Hello sumo fans!  

I just had to switch out of lurk mode when I noticed this on
Abe-san's recent posting:

Wow!  Can you imagine having a visit at your door by a Jehovah's
Witness representative who is an ex-rishiki!  I bet he's good at it.

Okay, maybe they don't do things this way in Japan the way they do
in the States.  But, as a serious question, could someone tell me
something more about unusual occupations now held by former rikishi?
