Chatting on the Sumo list

Hello, Sumo fans!

This ongoing discussion of whether or not chatting on
the Sumo list should be allowed has run its course, IMO.

My opinion is that chatting SHOULD be allowed, but that's
because I enjoy the chat.

However, we should appreciate the views of those who
don't want to log on to see a few hundred chat messages
in their e-mail box.

The suggestion was made earlier, and I think we should
embrace it.  If we're going to write a chatty message,
let's just put [C] (for brevity sake) in the Subject
line, so that everyone can add it to their killfiles
if they don't want it.

Fair?

Can we just get on with it then?
