I disagree. One must always try their best. If you know that you did
something that should have cost you the match, you should still work your
hardest for the remainder of the match and then (if you end up winning)
approach the referees to admit the loss. Especially in sumo where it is
considered bad form to put forth anything less than your best effort, to
fight weakly so as to lose should be unacceptable regardless of the reason.
