Makunouchi Banzuke Page
Banzuke question
I was surprised to see that I did not have the order of the two Sekiwake
correct in my predicted banzuke. It was my understanding that the best
record would be Higashi and I therefore predicted Akinoshima (11-4 at H.
K.) to be H. S. and Kaio (8-7 at N. S.) to remain as N. S.
So, does Kaio get the more prestigious Higashi rank because he was already
a Sekiwake? I'm pretty curious.
