Re: O-zumo Tournament (Day 2)

I want to thank Robert for typing in the results of the recent two
day tournament.  

I have a quick question though...  Does this, or any of the other
two day tournaments, mean anything in terms of the sumo rankings?
Or is it just a rare opportunity to see two sumotori from the
same beya wrestle each other?  I figure that it doesn't mean
much to the higher ranked rishiki but what about to the maegashira?
Mainoumi went something like 4-11 in the last basho but lost to
Musashimaru in the finals of day two (helped out a lot by Naminohana
beating Akebono in the first round) of the recent two-day tournament.
Will this (hopefully) dampen his expected free-fall from M4 in the 
March tournament?
