Re: Takatoriki's wife

Robert:

I did not hear this while I was in Japan.
I have not seen this in sumo magazines either, although some mentioned that
Takanohana's (and Wakanohana's for sure) uncle lives in Nagata-ku, Kobe,
the area with most damage, and he is evacuated from his damaged house.

Related news:

Today (Japan Time), many rikishi including Yokozuna Takanohana and Yokozuna
Akebono visited Sumo Medical Clinic (Shinryojo) and donated blood for
earthquake vistims.

Kobe Steel's rugby team became a national champion on Jan. 15, and the team
planned to visit mayor of Kobe to thank for city's support on Jan. 17, but
the visit was canceled for obvious reason. Their dorm was damaged and could
not use at all. Their practice field was a victim of liquidation phenom (?,
ekijo-ka gensho) and completely covered by mud. Despite of these depressing
incidents, the members of team are helping neiboring community with
patroling neighborhood at night to protect their properties.
