I asked my brother in Sapporo to record this program for me. When it
arrives, and if it is a good one, I will offer a copy to the people on the
net. I happened to be in Tokyo last weekend and saw a very brief preview of
the program. It was about Musashimaru in Hawaii, if my memory was correct.

While I was in Tokyo for business two weeks ago, I watched a program about
an old lady who has been the only person in charge of coloring the
yusho-gaku or framed picture of yusho rikishi you see on the wall near
ceiling of Kokugikan. I thought it was a color photo, but it was a
painted/colored black and white photo. Her father was the first Japanese
color engineer for photograph and she followed his path when she was 18
years old. She was a coloring artist for all-colored movie picture in 40's
and 50's. Since those days, she was the only coloring artist for Sumo
Kyokai. One scene in this TV documentary was when she visited her first
yusho-gaku work for Yokozuna Terukuni, whose nickname was "Pink Music".
Yusho-gaku was donated to a local school he graduated from. It was stored
with yusho-gaku of Ozeki Kiyokuni who was also from the same town.

I think it was during the special old style sumo performance commemorating
the late Showa Emperor in Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan.

This is a good idea. I've been working on my own prediction of next bansuke.

How is the distribution of constributions from all over the world?

The news from Kobe area is getting diminished here in the US. Please keep
us informed directly from Kobe area.

Cheers.
