I know an American Catholis priest who married, and some Japanese Catholic
priests who married. I also know that even within Catholic, in Eastern
Authodox Catholic, priest has an option to get married, but not bishops.
All cases of foreign Catholic priest got Japanese citizenship, I know of,
are the traditional (single) Catholic priests, at least when they got
accepted as Japanese citizens.
