Now I`m completely mixed up. First, (no confusion) I saw 'Chado' Akebono on
TV on Saturday, riding the 'victory car' and giving lots of interviews at the
Heian shrine (?) (Apparently he won at Kyoto). [ Sorry to be so wooly, but even my
japanese relatives didn't get it ;-) ]
Second, (confusion) I saw the charity contest on Sunday and as far as I understood
it was in Tokyo ???
Maybe it was just recorded and broadcasted later ?!?
Anyway, here are the results, as far as I could grab it.
[ It was awfully fast, just 1 second between each bout :-( ]

Both Waka and Taka impressed me, and even if I don't
like Taka, he did show some power !
Akebono just shove Kotonishiki out, but had no real chance
against Taka. No tsuppari, no guts :-(
(maybe he didn't take it too seriously :-D)
P.S> He`s now at 210 kg
The fight between Musa and Musa was pretty uhh 'normal'
no tsuppari, Musoyama appeared to be dominating.
The same with Takanonami. He just showed him the way
out ...
The best bout was probably Taka vs. Waka. Both one time
at the verge of beeing 'yorikiried', but Taka did it at the
second time. Both seemed to be serious about that, so much
for the 'let's fight the stablemates'-discussion.
Well, and the winner is ...
Taka just lift Musoyama up, turned around and 'parked'
him outside the dohyo. Pretty convincing :-(
Don't forget, it was just a charity show, so lets
not take it too serious.
I hope, I didn't bug you with my *comments*, but after
1 year, I finally figured out how to mail (*blush*)
