	Yeah, well, I assume he spent his first seven years at Yakoda air force
base, which is a little piece of the US, with dollar-economy, PX,
Stars-and-Stripes newspaper,FEN broadcasting, and English language
pre-school and all schools.  Some of those people barely know what a yen
is, so he may not have had much Nihongo his first seven years.
