factoid about the Kokujikan

I was just listening to a story about water shortages in
Japan on Radio Japan and learned that the Kokujikan has
rain-water collectors on its roofs and tanks capable of
storing a thousand gallons of rain-water.

Well, I hope that's of interest to somebody :-)
