Re: Hokkaido rikishi

I put parens for both Wakanohana-I and Takanohana-I, because officially in
Sumo world, they are from Aomori-ken, based on their "honseki", their
family's official or permanent address.

I think Wakanohana-I was born in Hirosaki and moved to Hokkaido while he
was very young. He was scouted by Hanakago-oyakata (Moto-Maegashira Onoumi,
and Wakanohana-O) when he was a teenage phisical worker for a local steel
mill in Muroran, Hokkaido. He won the local sumo tornament with ease.

Takanohana-I (Wakanohana-I's youngest brother) was born in Hokkaido, but
moved to Tokyo following Wakanohana's success. When he decided to be a
rikishi, he was highly praised Olumpian candidate in butterfly swimming and
a middle school student in a middle school in Tokyo. When he was in sumo,
he was still recognized as a rikishi from Aomori-ken, besed on their
family's "honseki".
