Mainoumi loses by a hair, literally. He and Takanonami
went down at the same time, but Mainoumi's hair touched
the dohyo first, as the Shimpan announced after the
mono-ii. The san-yaku ranks are thinning out now, as
Terao and Kotonishiki join Kaio with make-koshi. Waka
and Musashimaru cruise; the crowd gave both a lot of
applause, smelling a possible zensho yusho playoff on
Sunday.
