And would Taka really be promoted above Akebono if he were to be made
Yokozuna (I know the word is that he probably won't be promoted, but
if he were, wouldn't he still be below Akebono, in the light of
Akebono's injury affecting his performance this basho)?

Or when the eleven wrestlers from M2 (east) to M7 (east) all took make-koshi?

Finally, a request: Does anyone have the full results of days 6 and 7
from the *Haru* basho? We seemed to miss them on the mailing list, and
I'm tidying up my files and would like to get my records on this basho
complete...

Thanks,

PS. The following anecdote has nothing to do with sumo, but since I've
given up on s.c.j. I have nowhere else for it:

Many years ago, both my sister and I did a short homestay in
Tochigi-ken. Recently my sister went back to visit this family,
and found that in the intervening years, the father of the family
had lost rather a lot of his head of hair. My sister mentioned
this to his sons and they suggested that this hair loss made him
look rather "hansamu". Initially, the father was rather pleased to
hear this, and preened himself a little, until his miscreant
offspring explained that the derivation of "hansamu" they had
in mind wasn't the English "handsome", but was instead made
up from Japanese words: "hanbun no han" and "samui no samu".
"Atama ga hanbun samui!" What a language :-)
