|Musashimaru (11-2) Takanohana (7-6) oshidashi
|Akebono (12-1) Konishiki (5-8) yorikiri
|
|As expected, Konishiki goes makekoshi today, so he'll have to really get
|his act together in January and get 10 wins, or else he'll end up having to
|try to regain ozeki from scratch. Not an easy task for him either way.
|
|Musashimaru and Takanonami battle each other tomorrow to decide second place,
|assuming Akebono keeps winning. Akebono and Wakanohana go at it, but Waka
|will need a real slick move to beat him.
|
|It should be tough for the Sumo Council to decide who gets the prizes this
|basho. But that's their problem. ;-)
