|I guess the Sumo Association wanted a longer day, so they stuck in a
|couple of Juryo rikishi to flesh out the schedule a bit.
|
|Takatoriki won the torinaoshi by the same technique that he lost the
|initial match against Kirishima. It took Kotonishiki just over 3 minutes
|to finally put away the failing Akinoshima. Musashimaru got kachikoshi
|a bit earlier than usual this basho. Maybe he really wants to contend
|for a change. Akebono almost missed completely at tachiai, but came
|back to snuff out Kushimaumi.
