|Akebono 12-0 Kotofuji 5-7 oshidashi
|
|Two more rikishi made kachikoshi today: Mainoumi and Daishoho.
|I'd have to wonder why Kushimaumi is being allowed to run up his
|record in the lower ranks. With only 3 losses, he should be
|going against higher-ranked rikishi.
|
|With only 3 days left, Akebono is definitely in the driver's seat.
|He goes against Kotonishiki tomorrow, Waka on Saturday and then
|Taka on Sunday. While he is likely to be feeling a lot of
|pressure to go unbeaten, I don't see him losing more than once.
|Musashimaru, though, looks pretty lost these days, and should be
|out of his long-held post at Sekiwake next basho.
|
|Otherwise, today was not really that exciting, and there weren't
|any particularly newsworthy items.

|Mata nee....
