|Mainoumi's tricks all failed today, and Tamakairiki forced him
|out. Tomonohana is proving that he belongs: he was very strong
|again today and threw Tokitsunada. Daishoho pushed out the
|listless Akinoshima: what happened to him lately? He just
|doesn't have any spirit. Wakashoyo won the battle of the
|bottom, so bye-bye Tomoefuji. Takatoriki also continued his
|slide as he was pulled down at the tachiai. Takanonami had to
|play side-step at tachiai to get the advantage over Mitoizumi.
|Musashimaru did pretty well at the mawashi, but Kotonowaka
|prevailed and dumped him. Looks like people have found out
|how to get around his thrusting. Terao nearly touched down,
|and Kotonishiki seemed to let up just enough to cost him the
|match, in a wild one. Kiraiho scores the big upset of today
|by chasing Wakanohana out. Akebono went quickly in on the
|mawashi and easily forced out Kotobeppu to stay unbeaten.
