Sorry for my mistake in a recent posting regarding 3-way ties.
The equations for winning probabilities were given as
>> wa = 1/2 + 1/2 wb
>> wb = 1/2 wa
>> wc = 1/2 wb
but should be
wa = 1/2 + 1/2 wc Win straight or wait one out
^^
wb = 1/2 wa Win one, and then win another
wc = 1/2 wb Wait, and then win two
The rest of the posting should be correct.
