Tochinowaka 8-2 Takanohana 9-2 Hiki otoshi = pull down
Daizen is back in the plus wins catagory. He has made quite a comeback after los
ing the first three bouts
Mitiozumi had a long bout tonight dodging his opponent throughout most of
the round till he was able grab at Daishohou belt and roll his shoulder into
Daishohou stomach and force him out. He too has made a comeback of sorts. On
the 6th day he had no wins and now he is out of last place where 5 other
rikishi are tied for.
Mitiozumi, known for his aggressive salt throws, is looking good. He won his bou
t confidently but not quickly. He had to grab Tomefuji around the belt
and force him out slowly. Tomefuji could not get loose.
Takanohana went down in under a quarter second. He charged at Tochinowaka
and Tochinowaka just grabbed Takanohana's arms and took one step backwards.
The speeding train momentum threw Taka practically face first on the ground.
It appears that a weakness has been found in Taka's opening.
Konishiki Locked Kyodozans arms. Picked him off the ground and walked forward
to force him out. Kyokudozan never had a chance. Konishiki never leaned
forward like he did on the 9th day.
Musashimaru was beating Wakanohana with aggressive pushing. Right when it looked
bleak for Waka, he grabbed one of Musashimaru's arms and swung him around out o
f the ring. Mushimaru is falling quickly in the standings. He
has three more tries to get one more win.
Akebono won the way Akebono always does. Throwing his body and arms forward
at blinding speed. The bout was over quickly.
