[sumo] GHMEMGWGWA Contest Winner!
Ross Mihara: Here's Riyo Ohta with a hanamichi report. This one's with
Gaijingai and the GHWEMGWGWA contest winner.
Riyo: Gaijingai, good to have you back from East Asia.
Gaijingai: Arigato gozaimasu.
Riyo: I understand you spent your wedding anniversary on an island off east
Malaysia coral reef diving.
Gaijingai: Hai, so desu.
Riyo: Did you see any nudibranches?
Gaijingai: No, but we saw some nudibathers.
Riyo: Anoooooo....
Gaijingai: Yeah, hard to believe, but it was a topless beach!
Riyo: Nandeka!
Gaijingai: I was one lucky guy.
Riyo: ZAP!
Gaijingai: I mean I was one surprised guy.
Riyo: What was Gaijingal's reaction?
Gaijingai: She fit right in.
Riyo: ZAP!
Gaijingai: I mean she was as surprised as I was.
Riyo: Were the topless sunbathers Europeans?
Gaijingai: Hey, how would I know? All us gaijin look alike to me.
Riyo: ZAP!
Gaijingai: OK, enough with the cattle prod already. Let's get to the
winner!
Riyo: Hai, so desu. How many e-mails did you get, Gaijingai:
Gaijingai: I think I set a personal record. I got 4,751! To show you how
much e-mail traffic has grown, four years ago when Gaijingal, Yuriko, and
Soksnshuzan, and I went to Japan, China, and Mongolia for three weeks I got
just over 2,100 e-mails. Well, in the first 21 days on this trip I was
already up to 4,100!
Riyo: And who is the lucky winner?
Gaijingai: I told everyone to guess high and the winner was 800 below the
final count!
Riyo: And who would that be?
Gaijingai: With a guess of 3,947, the winner is - Torediyama, or as he's
known to the rest of the world, Emmett Wayne.
Emmett, send me your new mailing address and T-shirt size and a babe magnet
Virginia Beach T-shirt will be on its way to you!
Riyo: Thanks, Gaijingai. Any more contests this year?
Gaijingai: Sure, when we all go to Vegas in October!
Riyo: OK. For now, it's back to you, Ross!
Best regards,
Jeffrey Anderson
