Are you seriously comparing Asashouryuu to Futahaguro? I don't think he was bullying anyone. It was a case of two of Sumo's most popular characters putting on a show to an enthusiatic crowd on a crippled, shortened jungyo when Sumo is at its lowest fan-interst wise. If it were something more serious, un-Yokozuna like, or whatever, the papers would have been all over Asa . They aren't. I'm pretty sure (who can really know?) Asa was kidding around and didn't really cause Sakari any bodily pain of any kind. Humiliation? Sakari is the one harboring and playing on his "clown" persona (and making a lot of money off it..), which is the only reason he is Sumo's number one popular rikishi. It sure ain't his sumo skills.
* Agreed. The last real bully Yokozuna was Futahaguro, back in the '80s.
He had a reputation for beating up people around him.
