[sumo] Toshiyori share, Taikai, Vegas

The Kyokai annnounced on July 5 that former Maegashira
and current Sanoyama oyakata Asanoshu, 35, picked up a
new Toshiyori Myoseki "Sekinoto" while Juryo
Tokitsumi, 31 (Tokitsukaze Beya), has acquired
Toshiyori share "Nishikijima". Nishikijima share is
currently used by former Maegashira Shikishima.

Sanoyama Toshiyori share is owned by Ozeki Chiyotaikai
(am I reading too much here that Asanosho felt perhaps
Chiyotaikai may be retiring soon and will be in need
of the shikona so he took his own initiative by
getting another one before the inevitable happens more
sooner than later?)

Meanwhile Chiyotaikai was at the Kokugikan to attend
an information session for the Las Vegas Koen and
admitted that he was no longer seeing "tarento" Hikaru
Kawamura. "Right now I am on a rehab, doing stretching
exercises to get the joint more flexible," Chiyotaikai
said of his left knee which he aggravated at the
Nagoya Basho.

The information session was held for Makuuchi rikishis
to provide them the travel itinerary as they head for
their visa interview for the October event at the US
Embassy on August 30.

"I want to check out the casinos and eat big chunky
steaks," said Takamisakari hardly able to contain his
exuberance. "It's the place I wanted to visit once in
my life. I hope to take it easy and relax a bit
there," said more subdued and newly naturalized
citizen Kyokutenho.
