Actually there are much more dirts being dug up by
Japanese tabloids, weeklies and tabloid shows.
1. Weekly Shukan Bunshu which is not as bad as the
Post or Gendai, has Takanohana doing "exclusive"
interview and in it, he said his brother announced he
would severe their brotherly tie legally at the
hospital after Futagoyama Oyakata died (we don't know
if his perception of the event is correct or as Masaru
is remaining quiet at this point). According to legal
experts, saying it does not mean anything as legally
this is not possible as one's blood brother is always
one's blood brother. Takanohana is also accusing his
mother Noriko for causing all the problems they are
having now.
2. A program on Japan's TBS TV had done an "exclusive"
interview with a former housekeeper at Takanohana Beya
and she accused the brothers' mother Noriko planted
the seeds of their eventual breakup and badmouthing
Takanohana's wife, Keiko. She also implied
Futagoyama's older brother Wakanohana I took the
missing Toshiyori Futagoyama certificate.
Takanohana also told reporters that he has been
comtemplating a law suit to retrieve the certificate
as he has a good idea where it is being kept. However
he said he would be willing to sit down and discuss
the whole issues as he is aware that he is immature in
some areas.
The merry-go-round continues outside the dohyo and
unfortunately all this attention won't bring them any
more people into the arena, just selling more papers
and making these TV show reporters busy.
