I don't want to continue this toing-and-froing too much, but I have to say
that I find a lot more of "yes, you're right" type of responses on the SML.
You can go directly to the latest message in a discussion by clicking on the
"latest message" button. Also, I can totally ignore all the sumo games
sub-forums which I am not interested in.

You are correct in saying that you can read emails offline, and if the
amount or time that you are logged on to the internet is a concern then the
SML is probably better. However, I often find that the SML is dominated by
one or two topics at a time (such as Las Vegas and Akebono wrassling),
whereas the Forum allows many threads to be kept active similtaneously
because people aren't swamped in their inbox with only a couple of issues
(which means that others get forgotten more quickly).
