I don't think I said anything disparaging about the Pope- a man I respected a
great deal. I'm sorry if I offended anyone, and especially that I didn't
anticipate
that the recovery we were all hoping for would suffer such a reversal only
a day
or two after my post.
If you were so offended by what I said- again, I'm sorry. But your
reasoning which
then makes it OK to recast my analogy with the Emperor of Japan, a man also
deeply revered by many people, eludes me, I'm afraid.
