Ross Mihara: Here's Riyo Ohta with a hanamichi report. This one's with Gaijingai.

Riyo: Gaijingai, omedeto on your 2004 Daily Games World Championship.

Gaijingai: Thank you very much.

Riyo: To what do you owe your success?

Gaijingai: I did my best.

Riyo: Cut the bull, Gai. You stuck in the prebasho contests.

Gaijingai: OK, OK, I owe it all to my father-in-law who made it possible for me to retire from business and spend all my time poring over the sumo daily picks.

Riyo: Your father-in-law helped you retire?

Gaijingai: Yes. He told me that as long as I was marrying his daughter he would make me a 50-50 partner in the family business.

Riyo: That's nice.

Gaijingai: He told me I would first work in the factory to see how things work. I told him I hated factory noise and couldn't do it.

Riyo: And then?

Gaijingai: So he told me I'd work in the front office and see how the company operated. I told him I could bever work stuck behind a desk all day.

Riyo: Uh-oh. Sorekara?

Gaijingai: He told me that he had just made me an equal partner and I didn't want to work! What did I expect from him?

Riyo: And?

Gaijingai: I told him he could buy me out. :)

Riyo: Back to you, Ross!
