[sumo] Sumo Museum Exhibition

There is a new exhibition going on at the Kyokai's
Sumo Museum from now to December 17. I don't find this
information posted on their English pages so you may
have missed it but on the Japanese side, they have
some pictures of the exhibits which are pretty
interesting.

Here's the URL:
http://www.sumo.or.jp/museum/tenji/index.html

For those kanji challenged, here are the captions of
the pictures posted:

1. Yokozuna Futahaguro Kesho Mawashi
2. Maegashira 5 Wakanoshima Kesho Mawashi
3. Gyoji (Sanyaku level) Kimura Soushiro "suitcase"
(that's the box they carry their belongs around)
4. Sekitori writings on Japanese flag in 1943 (for war
efforts)
5. Akebono/Takanohana/Wakanohana/Musashimaru Tegata
6. A picture of Tanikaze vs Kimenzan
7. A picture of Kajigahama vs Sekinoto
8. A soroban (a Japanese old hand-held calculator)
used by the Tokyo Sumo Association (precursor to the
Sumo Kyokai)
9. Ozeki Nayoriwa Tegata
10. Ozeki Saganohana Tegata
11. Ozeki Masuiyama Tegata

Note: There is special guided tour of the exhibit on
each of November 14, December 4 and 11 starting at
14:00. A Museum employee will provide more information
on the exhibits.

So if you are in Tokyo around this time, it looks like
a well worth visit before checking out a chanko place.
