[sumo] Jyungyo Camp Report - Oct 20

Tochiazuma managed 30 "Moushiai" Keiko sessions with
Makushita rikishis at Tamanoi Beya in Tokyo. He is
still sporting a supporter around his injured right
knee but did not appear to be particularly concerned.

"When I extend the knee, it still hurts but it's
getting much better. I don't feel any anxiety (over
the Kyushu Basho). I think the condition will probably
improve as I go along," Tochiazuma said.

"If he can do that much with the younger guys, I am
sure he will be OK for now. The question is how he
will fare against sekitoris when he starts training
sessions against them," Tamanoi oyakata added.

Ozeki Kaio returned to Tokyo temporarily after the
Kounosu Jyugyo stop rather than travelling with others
to the next stop. "Some people ask me why I am jumping
back and forth between Tokyo and Jyungyo stops but I
prefer it this way. Once I am back here, I can
continue my lower back treatment and can relax and
enjoy some free time in my own place," Kaio explained.

Starting from October 19, Kaio has started training on
his own. "I will just do some light workout against
Kato chan (Takamisakari) and that's basically all I
need at the moment. I just don't try to do too much
too soon. I will be gradually trying to get into top
shape," Kaio said.
