[sumo] Isegahama oyakata vs Kyokai

Chair of the Kyokai Kitanoumi oyataka indicated that
he would be speaking to the Kyokai's attorney on
October 6 to discuss how to deal with Isegahama
oyakata's appeal. 

Isegahama oyakata maintains that his termination from
Kyokai's officer equivalent position is unjust and his
conduct did not warrant such a harsh measure.

Meanwhile Kitanoumi oyakata told Kyokai's other
directors and auditors regarding the status of the
case on October 4. The other members have agreed to go
along with the chairman's decision and let Kitanoumi
oyakata handle this issue. 


(Just background for those who may not be familiar.
During the Aki Basho, Weekly Shukan Post magazine
published a series of "expose" articles on Ozumo
citing Isegahama oyakata specifically. On the cover of
magazine, it displayed what appeared to be the
oyakata's comment that there was rampant use of
steoroids among rikishis and there was an implication
of yaocho matches.  The oyakata since denied making
the comments however many oyakatas were upset at
Isegahama oyataka of talking to the magazine. He has
been stripped of his duty at the Kyokai and lost his
officer equivalent status and was making the appeal to
reverse the decision made by Kitanoumi oyakata.)
