[sumo] Takamisakari Does Autograph Session
As a part of celebrating the 50th anniversary of
"Monthly Ozumo" magazine (published by the Yomiuri
Shimbun) since its inception,
Maegashira East 7 Takamisakari of Azumazeki Beya
visited Sanseido Bookshops' flagship store at Kanda,
Tokyo for an autograph session.
Takamisakari, managed to give his autograph to 150
people lining up at the store, including many young
women. "You know I am not used to
doing something like an autograph session," said
arguably the most popular rikishi currently in Ozumo.
Though often looking rather bewildered but receiving
cheers of "Ganbatte" from the crowd,
Takamisakari managed to give his autograph to 150
people lining up at the store.
The store will be holding an exhibit of seeing Ozumo's
50 year history as reflected by their cover till
September 11. The Aki Basho starts
on September 12.
