Because we *know* the Chinese aren't upset about the Mongols
invading them a thousand years ago :-)

I think a country like China that was invaded by virtually
every large nation on the planet is quite naturally going
to be a bit introspective.  However,  my impression is that
the Chinese, like the Japanese value an ordered society.
I doubt that there will be any trouble.  It just might
take a long time to get very many people joining in.  I would
play up the sport aspect rather than the cultural aspect.
