[sumo] sumo club question

thanks for the advice on my earlier question. however i'm wondering if 
anyone else on the list has been or is a member. i'd feel kinda embarrassed 
to just walk up with no introduction and ask to join. also they might be a 
little underwhelmed by a 168 cm tall 67kg  31 year old irishmans prospects.
anyone able to help?
