Kotooushuu is pissed. Well,not exactly pissed, miffed..Or maybe spiffed. 
Riled? Upset? Bothered? In Sapporo, he voiced his displeasure at being 
wrongly identified. Some fans are calling him the "Beckham of the Sumo 
world " because of his good looks. "I'm not Beckham. I'm Kotooushuu!", 
he declared. Then, fans asking for his autograph called him Rohou, and 
some even mistook him for Kokkai. He wishes to be recognized and called 
by his own shikona as soon as possible, says the paper.
Due to his fast ascension to Makuuchi (11 bashos), he still can't make a 
real oicho -mage. Kyushu at the earliest, they say. "I can't wait for 
Makuuchi.. Please remember my name quickly!", he said. Aki should make 
that name more popular.
On August 15th, he will be going to Okinawa to train kids at a local 
school. "I hope the younguns won't be startled when they see me", said 
the 2.03 meter rikishi.

Current Miyagino Oyakata (but not for long..), who will be forced to 
relinquish his name after Ex-Juryo Kanechika inherited it, plans on 
staying on at Miyagino as an affiliate Oyakata. He wishes to continue 
and bring up the likes of Hakuhou. He assembled the rikishi after Nagoya 
and told them of his intentions, which apparently are known to the new 
Oyakata. It seems he will assume the name of Kumagatani, which at 
present belongs to ex-Asahisato of Oitekaze -beya, which belongs to the 
same Tatsunami/Isegahama Ichimon.
