[sumo] [spoiler] Tosanoumi interview

Q: It's been a long time since you had 11 wins..
A: My Banzuke position was such that I had to win that many. My feeling was "If I MK, I'm quitting"
Q: What was the main reason for your good showing?
A: Going forward without my "style" crumbling... I went all out and had good timing- in any case, I don't think I had one single bad bout.
Q: Your 0-2 start had us worried..
A: I wanted those wins real quick so I just got a bit impatient I guess. I was going with all out attacks on the dohyo so I wasn't really worried.
Q: What is your preferred Sumo?
A: I like all types of sumo. After I got my KK, I did some experimenting..
Q: You seem to favor Nagoya..
A: When it's hot, my body seems to move best. Also, after Nagoya, there always is a general meeting of one of our important koenkais, and I can't very well show up with an MK.. the pressure was intense..(laughs..)
Q: Toyonoshima, Kotoshougiku-some great prospects coming out of your prefecture..
A: I'd like to see them up at the joijin ranks as soon as possible. I'll have to gambarize as well..
Q: Next basho you'll b back as a joijin. what are your hopes?
A: KK of course, but the feeling of "Always onwards and upwards" has got to be there. If you are not on at around 5:30 in the afternoon (when joijin usually are on during a basho), you can't be watched by everyone.. My oshi is a bit weak lately, and instead of recklessly lunging forward, I'd like to watch my opponents more closely and do some "cerebral" Sumo as well.
Q: You'll be matched up against the Yokozuna..
A: I'll just have to make him go all out..
