Re: [sumo] FW: Rare Sumo Arts

It seems the catalogue is only available in german. The information given mainly describes the
pictures themselves (such as Nr. 19: Taguchi Yoshimori, 1830-84. Oban. From the series "Yokohama
rikishi no homare" (the famous sumo-wrestlers from Yokohama). One Sumo-Ringer was throwing a
bearded french to the floor. It is said that this french never lost before meeting the 'Yokohama
rikishi', who dumped him right away! Sign.: Ikkosai Yoshimori ga. publisher: Echigo-ya Chohachi.
Dat.: 1861. Bokashi. A5. B3,1. B6,5. B6,7.B8,3. B13,1. (15178))
